Clearer is a personal substance and habit tracking app designed to help you understand and manage your consumption. We take your privacy seriously, especially given the sensitive nature of the data you share with us.

• Your email address (for authentication)
• Substance type and tracking preferences
• Session logs (method, amount, timing, optional notes)
• Goal and preference settings
• Device information for syncing (platform, app version)

We do not collect your name, location, contacts, or any data unrelated to your use of the app.

We understand that substance use and behavioral habit data is deeply personal. This data is treated with the highest level of care: it is encrypted at rest and in transit, never used for advertising or profiling, and never shared with employers, insurers, or any third party. Only you can see your data.

• Displaying your personal dashboard, stats, and progress
• Calculating your clearance status and timelines
• Syncing your data across devices
• Sending notifications you have opted into (reminders, achievements)

We never use your data for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.

Your data is stored securely in an encrypted database. Session data is also cached locally on your device for offline access. We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and secure authentication tokens.

We do not sell, share, or provide your personal data to third parties. Your consumption data is yours alone. We may share anonymized, aggregated statistics for research purposes, but only if individual users cannot be identified.

• Access: You can view all data we hold about you within the app
• Export: You can export your data at any time
• Deletion: You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us
• Correction: You can edit or delete any session log at any time
